INTRODUCTION / INTRODUCCION

Janssen PMP and Bayer CropScience have concluded a research agreement to develop new postharvest solutions to protect fruit and vegetable produce against fungal diseases at worldwide level. For this purpose, Bayer CropScience will make fungicide active ingredients of its current portfolio available for testing. PHILABUSTER TM 400 SC

Over the past few years the FCM (Food Chain Management) Team of Janssen PMP worked hard to get PHILABUSTER^TM 400 SC registered in the primary citrus and pome producing countries. PHILABUSTER^TM, a combination product containing pyrimethanil and imazalil has been registered in 8 countries already:

2008 was a hugely successful year for PMP’s FCM business. Not only did we obtain registration in Spain, a key country for our FCM business, but we also added Italy and the Republic of South Africa to the list of regulatory approvals for PHILABUSTER^TM.

In the coming year(s) the FCM team intends to keep up the good work and will keep eyes and ears wide-open (looking) for other business opportunities. We will do our best effort to apply for registration in a number of other countries and crops.

Of course we will keep you, our customer, distributor or colleague, informed of our FCM achievements, and hope you will let us know of any opportunities we can help you with.

2008 fue un año de grandes éxitos para el segmento FCM de Janssen PMP. No solamente obtuvimos el registro en España, un país clave para nuestras actividades de gestión de la cadena alimentaria, sino que también añadimos Italia y Sudáfrica a la lista de aprobaciones administrativas de PHILABUSTER^TM.

Para el año próximo y los siguientes, el equipo de FCM continuará con su buena labor y mantendrá los ojos y los oídos bien abiertos en busca de nuevas oportunidades de negocio. Se hará el máximo esfuerzo para presentar solicitudes de registro en otros países y cultivos.

Naturalmente, mantendremos informados a nuestros clientes, distribuidores y compañeros de los logros en FCM. No dude en contactarnos para cualquier cosa en que podamos serle de ayuda.

Geoffroy de Chabot.

We are pleased to welcome on board Geoffroy de Chabot to replace Alain Garnier who retired this past July. Geoffroy has an agricultural background and a crop protection working experience for more than 12 years. In his new position he will be responsible for sales and marketing worldwide for the Food Chain Management portfolio. Geoffroy is excited about the opportunity to listen to you and to help find ways to make your business grow, as we are excited to welcome him to our team.

Nos complace dar la bienvenida a bordo a Geoffroy de Chabot en sustitución de Alain Garnier, que se jubiló el pasado mes de julio. Geoffroy tiene formación en agricultura y más de 12 años de experiencia de trabajo en protección de cultivos. Es responsable de ventas y marketing en todo el mundo para la cartera de Gestión de la Cadena Alimentaria. Geoffroy está a su disposición para escucharle y ayudarle a encontrar formas para hacer crecer su negocio. Para nosotros es una placer contar con él en nuestro equipo.

Keng Meng Khoo

joined us in January 2009 and is situated in Singapore. He has a background in microbiology, biochemistry and commercial law. Keng Meng will be responsible for all Regulatory Affairs for the Asia Pacific region and assists the team worldwide with human risk assessment aspects. He will also work closely with the sales and marketing team in identifying business opportunities and will make sure that the necessary regulatory actions are taken in a timely manner.

se unió a nosotros en enero de 2009 en nuestra oficina de Singapore. Tiene formación en microbiología, bioquímica y derecho mercantil.
